Howdy and thanks ya for stopping by. I would like to introduce myself, my name is J.D. a.k.a. Lady Bug of Artwork by Lady Bug
I am a self taught California artist who has a deep passion for nature and all thing country plus I have a love for Whimsical folk art also.
As you view my gallery you will see that some of my art is a country style or a Whimsical style of folk art of my childhood days, stories of my family days, photos of my family and places of then and now. My favorite thing to paint is my childhood memories of my Grandma chicken coop, her farm tools, garden, and some of the animals on her land. My other childhood memories is of my other grandma house and all the family gathering for the holidays, my cousins and the games we played, my grandfather Pop coming out of the corn fields, or him building things, fishing… these are just a few of my painting to be painted or already done.
I have won ribbons in the Art assoc and Juried shows for my artwork and I have some of my work in the Yucaipa Vision Quist Art Gallery.
